Camping (with sleeping bag and mat)
Day 1 - Report at the Manali Base Camp
Arrive in Manali on your own and report at our campsite. The first day is reserved for meet and greet, and you will be given an orientation session by the trek leader covering information like rucksack packing, walking techniques and information about the trek and the route. Acclimatize yourself with the weather and you can explore the town on your own. Retire for the night and camp in the meadows for the night to acclimatise better.
DAY 2 - Drive From Manali to Jobra then Trek to Chikka

Altitude : 9800 feet
On the second day we leave the base camp by 8 AM. We will be carrying lunch and breakfast with us. The first leg of the day’s travel would include a jeep drive from Base Camp to Hampta Dam. The trail is surrounded with Maple, Pine, Walnut and Oak trees, making it refreshing and enjoyable. After reaching Hampta Dam we prepare to trek to Chikka, which is also our final destination for the day. It is an easy stretch, as you will be crossing two wooden bridges and a small patch of forest. We reach the campsite at Chikka and prepare for our stay overnight post dinner.
DAY 3 - Chikka to Balu Ka Ghera

Time taken : 4 – 5 hours
Altitude : 11072 feet
Wake up to the beautiful himalayan sunrise and get ready for your journey to our Balu ka Ghera campsite. Today, you’ll experience the true beauty of the Himalayas as you set eyes for the very first glimpse of the towering snow-capped peaks. These are the Dhauladhar ranges, the outer Himalayan chain of mountains. Walk through flowering meadows and valleys that create a delightful picture-perfect scenery for you to revel in. Cross a log bridge over a fast flowing mountain stream, to arrive at Balu ka Ghera, the hibernating grounds for the great Himalayan brown bear. Reach the campsite and relax and enjoy some delicious dinner and retire for the night in tents.
DAY 4 - Balu Ka Ghera to Siaguru via Hampta Pass

Time taken : 8 – 9 hours
Altitude : 14100 feet
Start early in the morning today as you have a long journey planned ahead of you. After an early morning breakfast you will start trekking towards the most awaited Hampta Pass which is located at an astonishing height of 14100 feet. Today you will experience the dynamic landscape that the Great Himalayas hold within its large arms! A perfect learning ground for beginners in trekking, the trail has easy and gradual slopes. Following these trails, arrive at the spell binding Hampta Valley and experience its overwhelming beauty at the best. Continue to cross the Lahaul Valley after leaving Hampta Village to reach Siaguru campsite where dinner and tents will be ready for you to retire for the night.
DAY 5 - Siaguru to Chatru then drive to Chandratal
Distance covered : 3 – 4 kms
Time taken : 4 hours
Altitude : 11000 feet
Today we have an easy descent through the Hampta Valley. The massive mountains of the Pir Panjal and Spiti ranges dominate the entire landscape till the campsite at Chatru. Chatru is a confluence point of paths from Rohtang Pass, Hampta Pass and Spiti. From Chatru, if the road and weather conditions permit we head to the absolutely scenic Chandratal lake via jeeps and camp by the lakeside amidst the spectacular landscape. Have some dinner beneath a sky filled with twinkling stars and later retire for the night.
DAY 6. Drive from Chandratal to Manali
Post breakfast we drive to Manali via Chatru and the famous Rohtang Pass. This will be the end of your wonderful journey with us and we bid you goodbye here.

If cancellation is done by the participant prior to 15 days of the Event, 50% of advance price will be refunded. No refund would be provided if cancellation is done within 15 days of the event.
Full sleeves quick dry t-shirts and full trousers are recommended. You can also carry a cap, sunglass and waterproof jackets.
During the daytime temperature is within 15 to 20 degree Celsius while in night it drops to 0 to 5 degree Celsius.
We offer a healthy and nutritious vegetarian diet which is recommended during the trek. All the meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner are included. We also arrange for Jain food on special request.

Hampta Pass and Chandratal is a moderate level trek and there are very limited/no risk scenarios involved in the trek. A hundred percent guarantee to the safety of all participants will be provided by, only if participants are following all the instructions given by guides.
Guides who accompany the group members are certified from government mountaineering institutes and are expert in handling scenarios like medical issues or physical injuries. A first aid medical kit and rescue kit is always available with the guide.
If there is any personal medication, make sure that you are carrying medicines for it and the guide should be aware of it.
On the trek toilet tents will be pitched separately for boys and girls.
Natural water sources like stream are used for drinking at campsites. It is very safe to drink the water.
Yes, one can carry DSLR camera provided you take care of it against snow, rain and shock.
Yes, trekking shoes are compulsory. A good trekking shoe should have an ankle support, good grip and water proof. In case if you are buying a new pair of shoes, make sure you are using it at least 15 days prior to the event.

The level of trek is moderate. The trek demands both physical stamina and mental endurance. On who is participating should do few cardio workouts one month prior to the event.
